I bought this from a designer catalog on sale for $749 +$100 shipping from$999 and was so thrilled. That same day I saw it on Amazon for$408 no shipping so quickly returned the original one. This is gorgeous! I would not describe color as mint/ grey blue. It's base is taupe with accents of merlot and dijon.Goes perfect with my greige walls, navy cabinet, olive chair and chrome beige sofa.I replaced a $1500 5x7 wool rug with this in an 8x10 fitting the room much better. This is as good or better quality as that one. It has a handsome updated feel. Not too feminine. I can't imagine it clashing with anything. This will age well and could go in any room.
